Broadcast of Recorded Programs

Norman Corwin's programs, available on CD through the Lodestone Catalog, are available for radio broadcast on both public and commercial radio stations.

No fee is charged, but three restrictions are imposed:

The Lodestone Catalog must be informed of the station, location, date and time of the broadcast.
The recorded program must be broadcast in its entirety. No editing or shortening is allowed. The program may be paused for local announcements.
Each broadcast must be accompanied by an announcement that a copy of the show is available from The Lodestone Catalog. This announcement must include the address of the catalog's website at www.lodestonecatalog.com.

New Performances of Scripts

Norman Corwin's scripts are available for modern performances. Mr. Corwin's agent for peformance rights is Richard Fish, and he can be contacted by clicking here.

Please note that Mr. Corwin requires that no significant changes be made to his scripts without his prior written approval.

Standard fees are as follows:

$550 COMMERCIAL STAGE RUN IN THEATRE - TICKETS SOLD
$350 COMMERCIAL STAGE SINGLE PERFORMANCE IN THEATRE - TICKETS SOLD
$500 COMMERCIAL RADIO LIVE BROADCAST WITH AUDIENCE - TICKETS SOLD
$400 COMMERCIAL RADIO LIVE BROADCAST WITH AUDIENCE - FREE ADMISSION
$300 COMMERCIAL RADIO BROADCAST FROM STUDIO (no audience)
$150 PUBLIC RADIO LIVE BROADCAST WITH AUDIENCE - TICKETS SOLD
$ 75 PUBLIC RADIO LIVE BROADCAST WITH AUDIENCE - FREE ADMISSION
$ 50 PUBLIC RADIO BROADCAST FROM STUDIO (no audience)
$ 25 SCHOOL PERFORMANCE - regardless of audience/tickets

Performances which benefit charitable organizations may qualify for lower rates. Mr. Corwin may waive part or all of these fees in individual cases, at his discretion.

The license includes permission to record the performance. If a recording is made of the performance, a copy is to be sent to Norman Corwin, and a copy is to be sent to Richard Fish. The license includes permission for each participant in the performance to have a copy of the recording. If the recording is to be sold, rebroadcast, or given away to the public, specific permission must be granted on terms to be negotiated.

SCRIPTS

Copies of currently available scripts:

$10 -- electronic file
$15 -- hardcopy printout

If a script is not currently available, it can be made available, but there may be an extra fee for transcribing, typesetting, etc. If the licensee is able to provide this service, the cost may be deducted from any fees charged.

Mr. Corwin must approve all scripts, and all changes to scripts, before the performance. Changes to any outdated topical references will be favorably considered; other suggestions will be taken up individually.
